Open 9–5 is a conceptual music listening app created in response to
a personal need. When NTS became unavailable in Israel, finding music for long hours of work became an endless cycle of searching, skipping and deciding.
Inspired by platforms such as NTS and Radio Garden, the project proposes a quieter alternative where music is discovered through time,
mood and routine, making listening feel effortless again.

The project was informed by radio platforms such as NTS and Radio Garden, alongside research into digital listening habits and the relationship between music and focused work.
The design process explored how an interface can encourage listening without overwhelming the user with choice. By simplifying navigation and organizing music around time and mood, the project reframes discovery as a natural part of the working day.
The project developed through research into digital radio platforms, listening behaviors and interface design. Wireframes, user flows and interface explorations were used to simplify the experience, testing how time and mood could replace conventional browsing and playlist based navigation.
