West Seven is a branding project created for a cultural guesthouse and gathering space in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands.
Through identity systems, typography, digital design and art direction, the project explores a calm and grounded visual language shaped by island culture, slow movement, shared spaces and the people temporarily passing through them.

Process & References
The branding process for West Seven developed through conversations, observations and the atmosphere surrounding the space itself.
Through typography, identity systems he project shaped a visual language influenced by island culture, slow movement, temporary communities and the balance between hospitality and cultural space.

The visual direction behind West Seven was shaped by surf culture, independent hospitality spaces, contemporary editorial design and the atmosphere of slow island living. A central part of the project was creating a brand identity that feels connected to its environment rather than imposed onto it.
Instead of over designing the experience, the visual language was built to move naturally with the architecture, the landscape and the people temporarily passing through the space. Typography, materials, pacing and digital applications were all developed to feel calm, grounded and quietly present.
